On November 15, 2012 we announced the new #SMrebelsHelp community that was designed to help companies, charities and other businesses that need exposure. Since launching the community and the connected weekly tweet chats, some pretty amazing things have occurred. Not the least of which has been trending very high on twitter in many of our first weekly chats. No small accomplishment!@RockScarLove which received some pretty massive exposure and votes in an attempt to win a FedEx small business grant of $25k. My last update from the company was that they were filling a large new order of their apparel for a new spa boutique retailer in San Diego, a midst other new traction for their products. Way to go rebels!
The #SMrebelsHelp community has also hosted @Elizonthego in a chat about online bullying that was incredibly educational for many.
This last week we even had twitter user reach out for help using our hashtag after being attacked on twitter. We quickly came to their aid and shut down the attacks. The person doing the bullying seemed to be a bit shocked and quickly stopped what they were doing. This is exactly how this is supposed to work. So be sure to follow the #SMrebelsHelp hashtag beyond the Monday chats, in order to assist someone needing assistance in real-time.
We continue to receive many new submissions from additional companies and organizations that would like to be highlighted. These submissions seem to be getting better and better, allowing us to now have a backlog of guests for upcoming chats. Please be sure to tell your friends and social communities about #SMrebelsHelp and encourage qualified organizations to apply today!
This week we are continuing on our mission to help, by having our first internet startup guest, @Tagboard. Co-founder Josh Decker will be joining us to discuss their tag tracking technology and how it was designed to help nonprofits and business further community.
Be sure to join me and our rebel community Monday evening at 6pm PST 9pm EST as we continue to help others. Together we can make a difference in the world. within social media and more importantly to one person, company or nonprofit every single week!
