For those of you that are new to the site, welcome! For those of you who visit the site on a regular basis, you probably noticed that we did a re-branding and major web layout change to our site yesterday! *I want to thank DJ for taking the lead on this re-launch! He did an excellent job, didn’t he! We should all send him a little note to say thanks!*
SteamFeed has been going strong since it’s initial launch on September 18. Since then, we’ve successfully added 38 authors to the roster, not including DJ and I. Our social community grows larger everyday, as do our social shares.
We decided it was time to move away from the “amateur blog” look, and move towards an “online publisher” look. We’ve re-branded the logo and site to reflect this change.
We also added a few goodies to the site! First up, we are launching our very own newsletter. You’ll get exclusive information that you can’t get on the site, including but not limited to SteamFeed updates, poll results, top posts, and exclusive content. Make sure you sign up! :)
We’ve added a rating system to our site! You can now easily rate articles, and give a glimpse to the authors about which posts you liked best, without you having to comment! Let’s face it, sometimes you don’t comment, because you don’t really have anything to say. Just give the post a star rating, and the authors will know how their post is perceived by you.
New Start Ratings on Posts
Another feature we’re really excited about is the “what should we write next” feature. We want to make sure at SteamFeed that we write articles that you absolutely want and love. And what better way to write articles that you love than you giving us ideas! At the end of each post, you’ll be able to submit an article idea (anonymously) to us, and we’ll do our best to write about it.
You can now submit ideas for article directly within SteamFeed!

Solid new design and a much cleaner and visually stimulating look! Way to go DJ! The rating system is a good call considering readers don't always leave comments as well!
Is the what should we write about next a plugin or custom coded? That would be nice to include on my own site!
