Personal branding is about the impression you make in people’s minds. It’s about what you want people to feel and think when they meet you. It’s about the goals you have in life, and how you’re going to achieve them.
Your personal brand is the sum of everything that is you. It’s your promise to potential clients or employers, and it’s your job to set and meet those expectations.

Hi Anne, You've done a service here. This is a valuable and well designed summation on a topic that is quite illusive. There are so many intangible aspects to forming ones own Personal Brand that providing this framework for the thought process is a huge benefit. Personal Branding goes to the heart of who we are. and capturing that essence takes some introspection. Starting and ending with the question, "Who are you?" Nice job.
Hi Irene, I'm glad you found the slideshare useful! Thanks for commenting!
Haha! "Martha is better than you at everything" I don't know why I found this so funny, but I did. Nice Slideshare presentation Anna. :)
It’s because Martha is the kind of person who can grab a small string of DNA and whip up a white horse out in the garage. ;)
Nicely done Anne! :)
Thank you Paul! And thanks for the comment! :)
Hello Anna, I love this presentation! You get to the fundamentals of personal branding and do it in a way that is both memorable and funny (I laughed so hard at the Martha Stewart slide, I choked on my tea!) This is absolutely brilliant in it's simplicity and I thank you for sharing. -Jeff
Thank you Jeff, glad you liked it! I know I shouldn't laugh at my own jokes, but I find the Martha slide hilarious too. (I think her facial expression does the job).
What a wonderful blog post. It is just what I needed. I know this is important but sometimes I forget. I have always wanted a Free Martha tshirt and know I think that I want one that says "she is better than you at everything" too.
